Virginia “Jeanne” Timmerman (nee Addas), 83, of River Edge, NJ passed away peacefully in her home on April 14, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Virginia was born July 31, 1930 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Frank and Teresa Addas (Burns). Jeanne was pre deceased by her loving husband Donald in 1991 after 29 years of marriage and her sister Marguerite Batten. Cherished mother of three children, Judy Kelly and her husband Edward, Laura Timmerman and her late partner Bernard Mohring Jr., and David Timmerman and his wife Lisa. Dear sister of Frank Addas. Adored grandmother of Kristina, Shannon, Matthew and Ashley. Throughout Jeanne’s beautiful life she was a treasured friend and confidant to so many, whom she loved as family. Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, April 19 from 4-8 pm at William G. Basralian Funeral Home, 559 Kinderkamack Rd. Oradell, NJ. Guests may arrive at the funeral home at 9:00am on Monday, April 21 with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00am at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 445 Fifth Ave. River Edge, NJ with burial succeeding at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers or donations the family encourages you to spend time with loved ones, and enjoy each other and the wonderful gift of life.
