John B. “Jack,” a longtime resident of Oradell and Rochelle Park passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 6, 2015 at the age of 88. Jack was born and raised in Teaneck. He fought in WWII and was awarded a Purple Heart. He was predeceased by his wife Trudy in 1973. Jack was the cherished father of twin girls Nancy Shelley, husband George and Kathy Case, husband Paul. Longtime, loving companion to Catherine Twiddy. The great joys in his life were his grandchildren Trudy, Eddie, George, Erica, Megin and Leo; great-grandchildren Vanessa, Isaac, Brendan, Kyle, Gabriel and Jayden. Best Friend to Buddy, his Sedona Terrier. Visiting will be on Sunday, February 8 from 4-8 PM at the William G. Basralian Funeral Home 559 Kinderkamack Road Oradell. Funeral Services Monday 1pm at the Funeral Home, Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sedona Humane Society at www.humanesocietyofsedona.org
