CAMPBELL, Carol Gene (nee Straub), 73 of Port St. Lucie, FL, formerly of Teaneck, NJ passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2013. Loving wife of Donald Campbell, a retired Lieutenant for the Teaneck Police Department. Cherished mother of Debra Ringer (and Roy) of Manahawkin, NJ, Donald Campbell of Port St. Lucie, FL and Denise Benzinger (and Rich) of Barnegat, NJ. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and brother and sister-in-laws. She was predeceased by her two sons, Walter Campbell and Scott Campbell, her parents William and Francis Straub and her brother Donald. Carol worked as a Teachers’ Aide for the Teaneck Board of Education. Friends and family are invited for visitation on Friday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
