MAISSEN, Nicholas, age 83 of Teaneck, NJ formerly of Rabius, Switzerland died Friday, December 28, 2012, Beloved husband of Sophie. Devoted father of Nancy St. James and Cynthia Maissen. Dear brother of Fidel, Balbina, Philomena and Emma. Loving grandfather of Catherine and Victoria St. James. Nicholas was married to his devoted wife for 54 years and loved spending time with his family, was a life long Mets fan and enjoyed playing Bingo. Nick was formerly employed as a Foreman and Painter at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for 20 years. Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday 2-6 PM at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ. Funeral service Monday 10 AM from the funeral home, then to St. Anastasia’s RC Church, Teaneck for an 11AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ.
