Barbagallo, Thomas L. age 88 of Oradell, NJ formerly of Cliffside Park, NJ passed peacefully on December 23, 2012. Beloved husband of 54 years of Anna (nee McPartland), and loving father of Tom and his wife Kim, Anne Barbagallo, Mary Kern and her husband James. Dear Brother of Charles Barbagallo and Salvatore Barbagallo and his wife Lorraine. Cherished grandfather of Allison, Michael and Thomas Barbagallo, and Elizabeth and Meagan Kern. Thomas was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Jennie (nee Mirabello) Barbagallo, and brother-in-law Brother John McPartland, C.F.C. Tom graduated Cum Laude from New York University‘s Leonard N. Stern School of Business. He became a Certified Public Accountant while working for Haskins and Sells public accountants. After several years, he was offered a position at General Motors, a client of the firm he worked for. He became a Divisional Auditor at General Motors. Subsequently, he held several management positions in the company’s banking, cash management and treasury office. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Junipero Serra Club and the Holy Name Society. Tom was a faithful parishioner of St Joseph’s Parish for over 55 years. He enjoyed fishing, coin and watch collecting. Friends and family are invited for visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PMat Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell, NJ. Funeral service from the funeral home on Friday at 9 AM and then to St. Joseph’s RCC, Oradell for a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at Mary Rest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ.
