Stracquadanio, Salvatore age 82 a resident of Paramus, formerly of Bogota and born to Giovanni and Maria Rosa Stracquadanio in Pozzallo, Italy passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Beloved husband of Sandra (nee) Mattioli. Devoted father of Rosemary Stracquadanio, John Stracquadanio and his wife Janet, Loren Stracquadanio, and Gary Stracquadanio and his wife Susan. Loving grandfather of Joseph (Jen), Michael, Juliana, Ryan, Marissa, Gloria, and Valerie. Salvatore’s memory will also be cherished by his surviving brothers and sisters as well as his loving nieces and nephews. Early in his career, Salvatore was employed by The United Nations and Squibb Pharmaceuticals in New York City. Later, he was the owner of Ray’s Market in Teaneck and was also the founder of the Italian Connection Restaurant in Dumont. Family and friends are invited to visit today, Thursday 4-8PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Friday at the Church of the Annunciation, Paramus. All are to meet at church. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Hackensack.
